Panda Ancient Tree Pu-erh is a traditional raw (sheng) green pu'erh tea cake made from large-leaf pickings of ancient tea trees over 100 years old in hot and humid Yunnan Province. It's an ideal beginner raw pu'erh, as it's traditional and sun-dried.

Rather than being machine-pressed, this cake was pressed with a millstone, which allows air to circulate and flow throughout the cake. This encourages maturity in flavor and makes it easier to break apart and brew. When first steeped, the tea offers a grassy, flowery and woodsy aroma that quickly evolves into a rich, smoky floral scent.
