Description
Supreme West Lake Long Jing Dragon Well – Hand-Crafted Hangzhou Green TeaThe tea garden where we source our Supreme West Lake Long Jing is located high in the mountains of Hangzhou, the legendary home of Dragon Well tea. For generations, the family who tends this land has crafted exceptional Long Jing by hand, using traditional, natural farming methods and pan-firing techniques passed down from one generation to the next. This batch is picked from the very tender first spring shoots. Each leaf is meticulously hand-picked in late March, then carefully roasted by hand in wood-fired pans. Our supreme grade offers a subtler, grassier and more refined finish than mainstream Long Jing picked later in the season. Tasting Notes
