Oriental Beauty Oolong Tea es una variedad de hojas del cultivar Jinxuan cultivadas en el monte Dahei, una reserva forestal nacional de la provincia de Yunnan, una famosa región de té del bello suroeste de China. Este té es único, ya que a principios de la temporada, los saltahojas llegan al jardín de té; durante un periodo de 3 semanas, mastican parcialmente las hojas, lo que permite que se oxiden mientras siguen creciendo para producir el Oriental Beauty.

La tasa de oxidación del Oriental Beauty es superior al 60%, lo que se consigue mediante un largo periodo de temperatura fresca, un complicado marchitamiento y el procesamiento de las hojas. Estas condiciones climáticas naturales, junto con el proceso de marchitamiento tradicional, crean el encanto y el perfil de sabor únicos de las notas de miel y moscatel de este té.

Una vez remojado, el Oriental Beauty Oolong ofrece un licor de té ámbar dorado cristalino, apreciará las motas de hoja verde pálido y las hojas enteras que captan la alta calidad de la hoja. Desprende un rico aroma floral y a moscatel. Su sabor es rico, atrevido, dulce y duradero, justo lo que se busca en un té Oriental Beauty Oolong de alta calidad.

[EN] my first favourite tea, when i was just beginning to get into chinese/gong fu tea, was oriental beauty tea.

my dad's friend gifted a box of it to him many years ago after a trip to china, and it sat in our kitchen for over a decade. we weren't big tea drinkers. but when i became interested in tea, my dad remembered that big red box of tea, and we dusted it off and tried it. i loved it right away. the label was chinese, so we used google lens to translate the text and find out that it was oriental beauty tea.

after i inevitably drank it all, i wanted to buy more. unfortunately it's a rare tea; difficult to find even in a big city. i bought it the one time i saw it in my city, but it wasn't the same as the one my dad's friend bought in china. so when i saw it on tealyra i was excited to get a small 25g sample. i was amazed at the quality. it tastes exactly like the one from china, and brings back great memories of my first gong fu tea ceremonies. i'm looking forward to buying a bigger portion from here when i run out of what i have.

[EN] Very good, oxidized oolong with a pleasant honey flavor. If I had to choose just one tea to live with, it would be Oriental Beauty.

[EN] This tea is spectacular, gung fu style gives you lots of sweet flowers and citrus for the first brews, then it turns into a "normal" oolong tea with great longevity.
